Chris Young has recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still coming to terms with the events of the past week, which involved him being arrested on assault charges.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" used social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of January 22nd.

Update: Chris Young has been found innocent of all charges following his arrest at a bar in Nashville

In the video, Young expressed how much it meant to him to have friends and fans show their support and belief in his innocence.

"It is a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience something like this. However, it was heartening to see the overwhelming love and support from others."

The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.

Footage from a security camera captures Young appearing composed as he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to lose his balance and fall backwards into the bar.

"At the beginning of the video, Young mentions that he is still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events that occurred in the previous week." Towards the end, he shares that the encouragement from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.

The new album "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.

"Turn up the volume, have fun. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to express my gratitude," Young expresses.
