Chris Young Opens Up to Fans After Arrest and Dropped Charges: “I’m Still Processing

Chris Young recently spoke to his fans for the first time since his arrest and the subsequent dropping of charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to understand and come to terms with the events of the past week, which included being arrested on assault charges.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude towards friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of January 22nd.

Young expressed how much it meant to him to have friends and fans support him and believe in his innocence.

"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience something like that. The positive aspect was witnessing the overwhelming love and support from others."

The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.

A security camera recording captures Young behaving calmly before he tries to signal a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by extending his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to lose his balance, fall back into the bar, and collapse.

Young expresses that he is still trying to understand and cope with the false accusations and events that occurred in the past week. He mentions in the video that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.

The release of "Double Down" is scheduled for Friday night at midnight.

Young encourages the audience to turn the volume up and savor the music. He expresses gratitude, love, and appreciation towards the listeners.
