Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropping of charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with a tumultuous week that involved allegations of assault.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media for the support of friends and fans who believed in him during his night in jail on January 22nd.

In the video, Young expresses how much it meant to him to have friends and fans support him and tell him they believe in him and don't think he did anything wrong.
"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience what happened. However, the positive aspect was witnessing the overwhelming love and support from others."
The occurrence occurred at the Dawg House located in the downtown area of Nashville.
In the security camera footage, Young appears composed before he tries to get the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by raising his arm. The agent then pushes Young, causing him to stagger backwards into the bar and fall down.
Young expresses that he is still trying to come to terms with the false accusations and events of the past week at the beginning of the video. He credits the support from his fans as the motivation behind releasing a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.
The new album "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and have a good time. I am grateful for you, I care about you, and I want to thank you," Young expresses.
