Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and the subsequent dropping of charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with the events of the past week, which involved his arrest on assault charges.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude to friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

Young expressed in the video how much it meant to him to have friends and fans support him and say they don't believe he was involved in the situation.
"It's a relief to see the charges dropped. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I went through. The positive aspect was witnessing the outpouring of love and support."
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville.
Footage from a security camera captures Young appearing composed as he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to lose his balance and fall backwards into the bar.
"I'm still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events that occurred last week," Young mentions at the beginning of the video. Towards the end, he explains that the encouragement from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The new album "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and have a good time. I value you, I care for you, and I am grateful," Young expresses.
