  • by

Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and the subsequent dropping of charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to make sense of the events from the past week, which involved accusations of assault.

The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude to friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of January 22nd.

Update: Chris Young has been found not guilty of all charges following his arrest at a bar

Young expressed in a video how much it meant to him to have friends and fans show their support and belief in him, stating that they reassured him that they do not believe he was involved in any of the accusations.

It is a relief to see the charges being dropped. No one should have to experience going through such a situation. However, the positive aspect was the overwhelming love and support that was shown.

The event occurred at a restaurant called the Dawg House located in the downtown area of Nashville.

The security camera footage captures Young acting composed as he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent then shoves Young, causing him to stagger and fall backwards into the bar.

"I'm still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events that happened last week," Young explains at the beginning of the video. By the end, he shares that the encouragement from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.

The new album "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.

"Turn it up, have fun. I value you, I care about you, and I am grateful," Young expresses.
