Chris Young has spoken to his fans for the first time after his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with the events of the past week, which included being arrested on assault charges.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" expressed gratitude on social media to friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of January 22nd.

Young expressed in the video that he was very grateful for the support he received from friends and fans who reassured him that they believe in his innocence and have his back.
"It was a relief to see the charges dropped. No one should have to experience something like that. The positive aspect was feeling the love and support from others."
The event occurred at the Dawg House located in the heart of Nashville's downtown area.
Footage from a security camera captures Young appearing composed before he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by reaching out his arm. The agent responds by pushing Young, causing him to trip and fall back into the bar.
Young expresses that he is still trying to come to terms with the false accusations and events that occurred in the past week. He shares in the video that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album ahead of schedule.
The new album "Double Down" will be released on Friday, February 2nd, at midnight.
"Turn up the volume and have a good time. Young expresses gratitude and love, saying thank you," Young says.
