Chris Young recently addressed his fans for the first time since his arrest and subsequent dropped charges. He mentioned that he is still trying to come to terms with the events of the past week, which involved accusations of assault.
The singer of "Young Love & Saturday Nights" went on social media to express gratitude to friends and fans who supported him after he was in jail on the night of Jan. 22.

Young expressed how much it meant to him to have friends and fans show their support and belief in him, stating that they reached out to say they stood by him and did not believe the allegations against him.
"It's a relief to see the charges being dropped. I wouldn't want anyone to experience what I went through. The silver lining was witnessing the overwhelming love and support from others."
The event occurred at a bar called the Dawg House located in the downtown area of Nashville.
The security camera footage captures Young behaving calmly before he tries to grab the attention of a Tennessee Alcohol Beverage Commission agent by raising his arm in front of him. In response, the agent pushes Young, causing him to stumble backwards into the bar and fall down.
Young explains that he is still trying to make sense of the false accusations and events that occurred over the past week. He mentions in the video that the support from his fans motivated him to release a new song from his upcoming album earlier than planned.
The release of "Double Down" is scheduled for midnight on Friday, February 2nd.
"Turn up the volume, savor the moment. I am grateful for you, I care for you, and I want to express my thanks," Young expresses.
