Both singers invited their significant others to appear in their music videos. Bryan is seen embracing his wife of 17 years, Caroline Boyer, as they enjoy a sunset in a field. Pardi is shown spinning his wife Summer around a dance floor, and also holding his nearly one-year-old daughter Presley while on horseback.
Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys," which explores their personal backgrounds. Pardi, originally from the West Coast, portrays the cowboy, while Bryan, whose family are peanut farmers, takes on the role of the plowboy.
Pardi expressed that he and Luke both felt that the song was meant for them to sing together during an interview with Taste of Country Nights. The song is about cowboys and farmers.
Both singers have a history of including family members in their music videos. Bryan featured his wife and mother in his 2020 music video for "One Margarita," which had a beach theme. On the other hand, Pardi had his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, co-star in his 2021 music video for "Tequila Little Time."
Pardi's latest release, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first new music since his album Mr. Saturday Night in 2022, excluding a Christmas album he released last year. He and his wife Summer had a baby named Presley in February, and they have revealed that they are expecting their second child, another girl, in July.
