Family Matters: Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan’s ‘Cowboys and Plowboys’ Video Featuring Special Guest Stars

  • by

Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan have teamed up for a music video called "Cowboys and Plowboys," which features some surprise guest stars that steal the spotlight.

Both singers featured their significant others in their music videos. Bryan and his wife of 17 years, Caroline Boyer, are seen embracing in a field as they watch the sunset. Pardi is shown dancing with his wife Summer on a dance floor, and in another scene, he is holding his nearly one-year-old daughter Presley while they ride on horseback together.

Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys" because the song reflects their personal backgrounds. Pardi, from the West Coast, portrays the cowboy, while Bryan, whose family are peanut farmers, takes on the role of the plowboy.

Pardi expressed that he and Luke both felt that the song was meant for them to sing together. He explained to Taste of Country Nights that the song is about cowboys and farmers.

Both singers have a history of including their family members in their music videos. Bryan featured his wife and mother in the music video for his song "One Margarita" in 2020, which was set at the beach. On the other hand, Pardi included his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the music video for his song "Tequila Little Time" in 2021.

Pardi's latest music release, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first since his Mr. Saturday Night album in 2022, not including a Christmas album released last year. He and his wife Summer became parents to baby Presley in February, and they have just revealed that they are expecting their second child, another girl, in July.
