Farmer Wants a Wife’ Season 1: The Realities of Love and Heartbreak – Which Couples Are Still Together?

  • by

The first season of "Farmer Wants a Wife" ended on Fox in May. The show was very popular and had high ratings, so it was renewed for another season on February 1st, also airing on Fox.

Now that we have confirmed that the show was successful, what is the current status of the couples who were featured on the show?

Initially, each farmer invited eight women to live with them in the hopes of finding love. Over time, the women were gradually eliminated, not on a weekly basis, until only one winner remained. Three out of the four farmers ended their journey with a partner, but not all of these relationships lasted outside of the show.

Allen Foster ultimately chose Khelsi Stone at the end of his journey, after considering both her and Rebecca Rosell for the finale. Despite forming a strong connection and bonding during the show, Foster and Khelsi are no longer in a relationship.

Foster and Stone have both officially ended their relationship.

Foster expresses gratitude for the amazing journey and experience he had on Farmer Wants a Wife. Although the show didn't result in a romantic relationship as he had hoped, he gained lasting friendships and opportunities. He feels blessed to have been part of the journey and thanks everyone for their kindness and support.

During an unpredictable season, Hunter Grayson and Meghan Baker ultimately ended up in a relationship by the show's conclusion. Grayson picked Baker over Sydney Groom in the finale, despite Baker leaving the show temporarily due to her grandfather's passing. She came back just in time to win Grayson's affection.

Unfortunately, the relationship between the couple did not have a lasting future. Grayson publicly shared their separation in June 2023 through a post on social media.

"I regret to announce that Meghan and I have decided to part ways," he states. "We tried our hardest, but the challenges were greater than we anticipated. Meghan wishes to live in Tennessee, while I am unable to sell my farm to move."

I hope she has a wonderful and successful life. Our relationship will always hold a special place in my heart, and I am grateful for the time we spent together. I will always cherish the memories we made, but love cannot be based on external validation, as this farmer is looking for a partner for life.

In the finale of the show, Landon Heaton had to choose between two women named Ashley. In the end, he chose Ashley Larea over Ashley Rader.

Regrettably, the couple has broken up.

"In a detailed social media post, Heaton explains that while he had expectations going into the situation, he was unsure of what he would discover. However, he ultimately found a strong, genuine bond with a wonderful individual. After the filming ended, unexpected events required him to return home to his family and life became hectic."

In January of 2023, Ashley and I decided to part ways in order to transition back to our normal lives.

Even though our story didn't have a fairy-tale ending, I hope that we can always rely on each other and cherish the unique connection we have that few others can comprehend.

In the final episode, Ryan Black attempted to reconcile with Haley Ramirez, who he had eliminated earlier in the season. He persuaded her to return to the farm, where he had to decide between Ramirez and Sara Vincent. In the end, he picked Ramirez, but she did not feel the same way.

Black ended the season without a significant other.

"I had a great time on this journey, it was really interesting to learn more about myself, others, and how the film industry operates," he shares on social media. "I am grateful for the experience and even though I finished the reality TV show without finding love, I am okay with rejection as it has always been a strength of mine."

"Be mindful of your emotions. Stay alert and if you ever end up on a reality show, remember that everyone is watching," he advises.

The second season of "Farmer Wants a Wife" was ordered by Fox in May 2023. It is set to premiere on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET. The upcoming season will feature four new farmers who are searching for love.
