Jennifer Nettles, the host of the Fox show, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying more intense emotions, energy, and quick reactions, which may result in some tense moments on the farm.

In the upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife, four farmers from different parts of the United States will be searching for their perfect partners.

The unique aspect of this situation is that every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to join them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer due to his role as a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Roping and riding are deeply ingrained in his upbringing, as he has been involved in these activities since childhood. Ferrell, one of the more mature farmers on the program, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but a caring mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His large property is home to various wildlife and includes a 19th century cabin where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's childhood exposure to horses and outdoor activities inspired him to enter the farming industry. He currently runs his own farm with a mix of horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley across 1,000 acres of land. Center is a small town with just one stoplight, surrounded by farms. As the son of a farmer, Rogers grew up working on the farm with his father and now runs the family business. He is committed to carrying on the legacy his father started.

Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old, comes from a long line of farmers and is currently a citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. He owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres for cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers is mature and responsible, having taken on more responsibilities after his father passed away when he was 12. He now helps care for his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
