Pardi, who is from the West Coast, portrays the cowboy while Bryan, who comes from a family of peanut farmers, takes on the role of the plowboy. The video provides a glimpse into the singers' autobiographical stories.
Pardi mentioned to Taste of Country Nights that he and Luke both felt like it was destiny for them to sing the song together. The song is centered around cowboys and farmers.

Bryan had his wife and mother appear in the music video for his 2020 song "One Margarita," which featured a beach theme. On the other hand, Pardi had his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, make an appearance in the music video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."
Pardi's latest release, "Cowboys and Plowboys", is his first new music since his previous album, Mr. Saturday Night, in 2022. He also released a Christmas album last autumn. Pardi and his wife, Summer, became parents to a baby girl named Presley in February. They have now announced that they are expecting their second child, another girl, in July.
