Both singers decided to include their significant others in their music videos. Bryan appears with his wife, Caroline Boyer, in a scene where they embrace in a field and enjoy the sunset. Pardi is also seen dancing with his wife, Summer, and holding his young daughter, Presley, while sitting on a horse.
Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys" because the song reflects their personal backgrounds. Pardi, who is from the West Coast, portrays the cowboy while Bryan, who comes from a family of peanut farmers, plays the plowboy.
Pardi expressed that both he and Luke felt that the song was meant for them to sing together. He explained to Taste of Country Nights that the song is about cowboys and farmers.
Both singers have a history of involving their family members in their music videos. Bryan included his wife and mother in his 2020 music video for "One Margarita," which was set on a beach. On the other hand, Pardi featured his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in his 2021 music video for "Tequila Little Time."
Pardi's latest release, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first new music since the release of his Mr. Saturday Night album in 2022, excluding a Christmas album he released last year. In February, Pardi and his wife Summer welcomed their first child, Presley, and they have now revealed they are expecting their second child, a girl, in July.
