Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd have completed the legal process of their divorce, with a judge officially approving it.
Based on legal papers obtained by People magazine, the two country singers officially ended their relationship in Nashville on Tuesday (Jan. 30), shortly after coming to an agreement on how to divide their property and handle child support at the beginning of January.
The former partners have come to an agreement regarding financial support for their child. As outlined in recent legal documents, Morris will provide $2,100 each month to Hurd, and they will share custody of their son. They have also decided to divide their assets according to the terms of their prenuptial agreement and settlement.
Morris and Hurd have not said much about their split online. However, during an interview on the Howard Stern Show in late 2023, Morris mentioned that she was not considering dating again at that time.
She mentioned that she wants the divorce to be finalized soon because she is too preoccupied with writing at the moment. Writing has been her way of expressing and dealing with emotions, almost like a form of dating for her.
