  • by

The divorce between Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd has been officially approved by a judge.

Based on legal papers obtained by People magazine, the two country singers officially ended their relationship in Nashville on Tuesday, January 30th. This came shortly after they came to an agreement on how to divide their property and handle child support in early January.

The former partners have come to an agreement about how to handle financial support for their child. As outlined in legal documents filed recently, Morris will provide $2,100 each month to Hurd, and they will share custody of their son. Additionally, they have agreed to divide their assets according to the terms of their prenuptial agreement and settlement.

Morris and Hurd have not shared many details about their breakup on social media. When Morris appeared on the Howard Stern Show in late 2023, she mentioned that she was not ready to start dating again.

"I want the divorce process to be finished, but I'm not ready to deal with it yet," she explained. "Right now, I'm focusing on writing a lot. Writing songs has been my way of expressing myself and connecting with others."
