Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan have teamed up for a music video for their song "Cowboys and Plowboys," and they are joined by some surprise guest stars who make the video even more special.
Both singers had their partners appear alongside them in their music videos. Bryan and his wife, Caroline Boyer, are seen snuggling in a field and enjoying a sunset together. Pardi is shown twirling his wife, Summer, on a dance floor and holding his daughter, Presley, while sitting on horseback in another scene.
Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys" because the song reflects their personal backgrounds. In the video, Pardi portrays a cowboy, while Bryan represents a plowboy, reflecting his family's history of peanut farming.
Pardi expressed that he and Luke both felt that the song was meant for them to sing together during an interview with Taste of Country Nights. The song's theme revolves around cowboys and farmers.
Both singers have a history of including their family members in their music videos. Bryan had his wife and mother appear in the music video for his 2020 song "One Margarita," which was set on a beach. On the other hand, Pardi featured his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the music video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."
Pardi released "Cowboys and Plowboys" as his latest music following his Mr. Saturday Night album in 2022, excluding a Christmas album released last fall. He and his wife Summer had their first child, Presley, in February and have announced they are expecting their second child, a girl, in July.
