Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys" because the song is a reflection of their own personal backgrounds. Pardi, who is from the West Coast, portrays the cowboy while Bryan, who comes from a family of peanut farmers, plays the role of the plowboy in the video.
Pardi expressed that he and Luke both felt that the song was perfect for them to perform together. The song's theme revolves around cowboys and farmers.
Both singers have a history of including family members in their music videos. Bryan featured his wife and mother in the video for his 2020 song "One Margarita," which was set on the beach. On the other hand, Pardi included his Australian Cattle Dog named Cowboy in the music video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."
Pardi released his new song "Cowboys and Plowboys" as his latest music following his album Mr. Saturday Night in 2022. He also released a Christmas album last year. His wife Summer gave birth to their daughter Presley in February, and they have now shared the news that they are expecting their second child, another girl, in July.
