Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan collaborated on a music video for their song "Cowboys and Plowboys" which features some well-known guest stars. The video showcases both artists alongside other familiar faces who make a memorable appearance.
Both singers included their significant others in their music videos. Bryan is seen with his wife Caroline Boyer, whom he has been married to for 17 years, cuddling in a field and watching the sunset. Pardi is shown dancing with his wife Summer on a dance floor, and holding his nearly one-year-old daughter Presley while they ride horses together.
Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys" because the song reflects their personal backgrounds. Pardi, who is from the West Coast, portrays the cowboy while Bryan, who comes from a family of peanut farmers, represents the plowboy.
Pardi expressed that he and Luke both felt that the song was perfect for them to sing together. He mentioned in an interview with Taste of Country Nights that the song revolves around cowboys and farmers.
Both singers have a history of including family members in their music videos. Bryan had his wife and mother appear in the video for his beach-themed song "One Margarita" in 2020. On the other hand, Pardi featured his Australian Cattle Dog, Cowboy, in the video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."
Pardi's latest music release, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first since his Mr. Saturday Night album in 2022, excluding a Christmas album released last fall. He and his wife Summer became parents to baby Presley in February, and have now revealed they are expecting their second child, a girl due in July.
