Jennifer Nettles, who hosts the Fox show, acknowledges that this season the women are displaying more emotions, energy, and reaction, which may result in some intense moments on the farm.

The second season of the show Farmer Wants a Wife will follow the stories of four farmers from different parts of the United States as they search for their soulmates.

However, there is a unique twist to this situation: every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities and lifestyle of being a farmer's wife.

In Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife, viewers will meet Ty Ferrell, a 42-year-old who considers himself a cowboy rather than a farmer because he specializes in team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has been passionate about roping and riding since he was a young boy. As one of the older farmers featured on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother to his child.

At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to pursue farming. His large property is home to various wildlife and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Raised around horses and enjoying the outdoors, Kolinsky was inspired to start his own farm. Today, he owns a farm with horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. The town where he resides is very small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by farmland. Being a farmer is a family tradition for Brandon, as he is the second generation to work on the farm alongside his father since he was a child. He is dedicated to carrying on his father's legacy by continuing to run the family business.

Nathan Smothers, who is 23 years old, comes from a family of farmers and has a strong passion for farming. He is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer based in Bartow, Florida. His farm spans 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has shown wisdom and maturity beyond his years. He had to take on responsibilities at a young age after the passing of his father when he was 12, stepping up to help care for his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox at 9PM ET on Thursday, February 1st.
