The second season of "Farmer Wants a Wife" is returning, featuring farmers searching for love. The show is set to premiere on February 1st, perfectly timed for Valentine's Day.
Take a glimpse at the next part of the series, which includes a closer look at the farmers searching for romance.
Jennifer Nettles, who hosts the Fox show, acknowledges that this season the women are displaying more intense emotions and reactions, which could potentially result in some dramatic moments on the farm.
The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their life partners.
However, the unique aspect is that every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to come and reside with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's spouse.
Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer due to his role as a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ferrell has a long history of roping and riding, starting from a young age. As one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to work in agriculture. His large property is home to abundant wildlife and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and spending time outdoors inspired him to pursue a farming career. He now runs his own farm, raising horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a farm that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley in Center, Colorado. The town he resides in is very small, with only a single traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural land. Rogers is a farmer of the second generation and grew up helping his father on the farm. He is currently running the family business and aims to carry on the tradition that his father began.
At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is now a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. He owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for his cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has shown maturity and responsibility since he lost his father at 12, taking on the role of helping his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
