The second season of "Farmer Wants a Wife" is returning, featuring farmers searching for love. The show will premiere on February 1, perfect timing for Valentine's Day.

Here is a glimpse of what to expect in the next release, which includes a detailed look at the farmers searching for romance.

The host of the Fox show, Jennifer Nettles, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying more emotions, energy, and reactions, which may result in some intense moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.

However, the unique part is that each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, 42, considers himself more of a cowboy than a farmer, as he works as a team roper on his 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Mo. He has horses and cattle and has been roping and riding since he was young. Ferrell, who is one of the older farmers on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can be not only his significant other but also a caring mother to his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His large property is home to a variety of wild animals and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky has always been around horses and enjoyed spending time outdoors, which inspired him to start a farming business. He now runs his own farm, raising horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a farm in Center, Colorado that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley. The town he resides in is very small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural land. As the second generation of farmers in his family, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm. He is now carrying on the family business and aims to uphold the legacy that his father began.

Nathan Smothers, aged 23, comes from a long line of farmers and is currently a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His extensive property includes 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for his cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers is mature and responsible, having taken on the role of helping his mother and three sisters after his father passed away when he was just 12 years old.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
