Take a glimpse of what's to come in the next release, with a closer look at the farmers searching for romance.

Jennifer Nettles, who hosts the Fox show, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are showing more intense emotions and reactions, potentially causing some drama on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.

In an interesting twist, every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to stay with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, prefers to be known as a cowboy rather than a farmer because he specializes in team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, which is home to horses and cattle. His love for roping and riding started when he was just a kid. Ferrell, who is one of the older farmers on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, age 27, is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to pursue farming. His property is large and includes a variety of wildlife and a cabin from the 1800s where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and spending time outdoors led him to choose a career in farming. He currently owns a farm with both horses and cattle.

At 29 years old, Brandon Rogers manages a farm in Center, Colorado that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley. The town he resides in is small with only one traffic light and is surrounded by agricultural land. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business with the goal of carrying on his father's legacy.

At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is the fourth generation citrus and cattle farmer from Bartow, Florida. He owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres for his cattle. Despite being the youngest farmer on the show, Smothers has shown maturity beyond his age due to the responsibilities he took on after losing his father when he was 12 years old. He has had to support his mother and three sisters since then.

The second season of the TV show "Farmer Wants a Wife" will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
