Introducing the farmers on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, prefers to be known as a cowboy due to his role as a team roper on his 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Mo. He takes care of horses and cattle on his farm, and has been roping and riding since he was young. Ferrell, one of the more experienced farmers featured on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be his companion, but also a caring mother figure for his child.
At just 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a first-generation farmer located in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. His vast property is home to various wildlife and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Growing up around horses and spending much of his time outdoors inspired Kolinsky to pursue a farming career. He currently owns a farm with both horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, runs a farm that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land in Center, Colorado. The town he resides in is very small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural land. As a farmer, Rogers follows in his father's footsteps, having worked on the farm with him since he was a child. He is dedicated to maintaining and growing the family business, carrying on the legacy that his father started.
At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is currently a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His property is expansive, with 300 acres used for farming and over 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers displays wisdom beyond his years due to the responsibility he took on after losing his father at the age of 12. He now helps care for his mother and three sisters while managing the family farm.
The second season of the show "Farmer Wants a Wife" will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
