The host of the Fox show, Jennifer Nettles, acknowledges that this season's female contestants are displaying more intense emotions and reactions, which may result in some dramatic moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their perfect partners.

The unique aspect of this situation is that each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer due to his role as a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. His passion for roping and riding started in childhood and remains strong. Ferrell, one of the more mature farmers on the show, is a divorced dad with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be a companion to him but also a caring mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His large property is home to a variety of wildlife and includes a 19th century cabin where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and spent much of his time outdoors, which inspired him to start a farming career. He currently owns a farm with horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, runs a farm in Center, Colorado that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley. The town where he resides is very small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by farmland. Coming from a family of farmers, Rogers grew up working on the farm alongside his father. He is now carrying on the family tradition by running the business and aims to uphold the legacy that his father began.

At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers. He is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida, managing a large property with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres for cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers is mature and responsible, having taken on more responsibilities after his father passed away when he was just 12 years old. He now helps support his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
