However, there is a unique aspect to this situation where every farmer will choose five women out of a group of 29 to come and live with them on their farm. This experience will allow these women to fully understand the responsibilities and lifestyle of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, prefers to be known as a cowboy rather than a farmer, as he is a team roper by profession. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Roping and riding are ingrained in his upbringing, as he has been involved in these activities since childhood. Ferrell, one of the more mature farmers on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be a companion to him but also a caring mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His large property is home to a variety of wildlife and an old cabin from the 19th century, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and love for outdoor activities inspired him to start a farming career. He currently runs his own farm with horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that produces potatoes and barley. The town where he resides is very small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural land. Coming from a family of farmers, Rogers has been working on the farm since he was a child, following in his father's footsteps. He is dedicated to maintaining and expanding the family business, carrying on the legacy that his father started.

At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers, specifically citrus and cattle farming in Bartow, Florida. He manages a large property with 300 acres for farming and over 500 acres for raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after the loss of his father at 12, taking on responsibilities to support his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
