Jennifer Nettles, who hosts the show on Fox, acknowledges that this season the women are displaying more emotions, energy, and reactions, which may result in some intense moments on the farm.

In the upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife, four farmers from different parts of the United States will be searching for their perfect partners.

The unique aspect of this situation is that every farmer will choose five women out of a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities and lifestyle of being a farmer's wife.

In Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife, viewers will meet Ty Ferrell, a 42-year-old cowboy who prefers to be called a cowboy rather than a farmer because he is a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has been roping and riding since he was a child and it is a passion that runs in his blood. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is looking for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a good mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky is a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who comes from a family that did not have a history in farming. His large property is home to many animals and also includes a historic cabin from the 1800s where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and spending time outdoors inspired him to pursue a career in farming. He currently owns a farm with horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, at the age of 29, runs a farm in Center, Colorado that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley. The town he resides in is very small, with just one stoplight, and is surrounded by farmland. Coming from a family of farmers, Brandon worked on the farm with his father during his childhood. He is now carrying on the family tradition by running the business and aims to uphold the legacy started by his father.

At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. He manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres for his cattle. Despite his young age, Nathan shows wisdom and responsibility beyond his years. When his father passed away when he was 12, Nathan had to take on more responsibilities to help support his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
