On Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife, viewers will meet Ty Ferrell, a 42-year-old cowboy who prefers to be known as a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ferrell has been roping and riding since he was a young boy and is passionate about it. As one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father to a 12-year-old daughter. Ferrell is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother to his child.
At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to pursue farming. His property is large and filled with wildlife, and he resides in a 19th century cabin with his three dogs. Kolinsky's childhood included horses and outdoor activities, which inspired him to become a farmer. Today, he owns a farm with both horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large potato and barley farm spanning 1,000 acres in Center, Colorado. He resides in a small town with only one stoplight, surrounded by agricultural land. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up helping his father on the farm and now runs the family business with the goal of carrying on his father's legacy.
At the age of 23, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. He owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has shown maturity beyond his years, especially after losing his father when he was just 12 years old. Since then, he has taken on the responsibility of helping to care for his mother and three sisters.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
