Jennifer Nettles, the host of the Fox show, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are showing more emotion, energy, and quick reactions, which may result in some intense moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will follow four farmers from different parts of the United States as they search for their soulmates.

However, the unique aspect is that every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to move in with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, prefers to be known as a cowboy rather than a farmer because he is a team roper by profession. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Roping and riding are a part of his family history, as he has been involved in these activities since childhood. Ferrell, one of the older farmers on the show, is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be his companion but also a loving mother to his child.

At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who is the first in his family to pursue this career. His farm is located on a large piece of land that is home to many different animals and includes a historic cabin from the 19th century, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing involved being around horses and spending a significant amount of time outside, which inspired him to start a farming business. He currently runs his own farm, raising horses and cattle.

29-year-old Brandon Rogers is in charge of a large potato and barley farm spanning 1,000 acres in Center, Colorado. The town he resides in is very small and only has one traffic light, surrounded by agricultural land. Coming from a family of farmers, Rogers has been working on the farm since he was a child, following in his father's footsteps. He is dedicated to running the family business and aims to carry on the legacy his father began.

Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers. He is the fourth generation in his family to work in citrus and cattle farming. His farm spans 300 acres for crops and over 500 acres for cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers has had to mature quickly after losing his father at 12 years old. He now takes on the responsibility of caring for his mother and three sisters.

The second season of the show "Farmer Wants a Wife" will debut on Thursday, February 1st, at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
