Jennifer Nettles, the host of the Fox show, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying more emotions, energy, and quick reactions, which may result in some tense moments on the farm.

The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States as they search for their ideal partners.

However, there is a unique aspect to this situation where each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to come and live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities and lifestyle of being a farmer's wife.

Introducing the farmers on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, 42, likes to refer to himself as a cowboy rather than a farmer because he is a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ferrell has been roping and riding since he was a young child, and it is a passion that runs deep in his veins. As one of the older farmers on the show, he is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. Ferrell is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His large property is home to various wildlife and a historic cabin from the 19th century, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and his love for the outdoors inspired him to start a farming career. He currently owns a farm with horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a farm that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land in Center, Colorado. The town he resides in is very small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by agricultural land. He comes from a farming family, with his father also being a farmer, and he spent his youth helping out on the farm. Rogers now runs the family farm and aims to carry on the legacy established by his father.

At the age of 23, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is now a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His expansive property consists of 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres for cattle. Despite being the youngest farmer on the show, Smothers shows maturity and responsibility beyond his years, having taken on the role of supporting his mother and three sisters after his father passed away when he was just 12 years old.

The second season of "Farmer Wants a Wife" will be airing on Fox starting on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
