The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are in search of their soulmates.
However, there is a unique aspect to this situation: each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to come and live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities and lifestyle of being a farmer's wife.
Get to know the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, who is 42 years old, prefers to be known as a cowboy rather than a farmer because he specializes in team roping. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has been involved in roping and riding since he was a young child. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother to his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His large property is home to many animals and includes a historic cabin from the 1800s where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and nature inspired him to become a farmer. Today, he owns a farm with horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that produces potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. The town where he resides is very small and rural, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by farmland. Rogers comes from a family of farmers and grew up helping his father on the farm. He is now running the family business and aims to carry on the legacy that his father started.
Nathan Smothers, 23, comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His extensive property includes 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers is mature and responsible due to having to take on more responsibilities after his father passed away when he was 12. He helps take care of his mother and three sisters while managing the family farm.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
