Jennifer Nettles, who is hosting the Fox show, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying more emotions and energy, which may result in some tense moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.

The unique part is that every farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to move in with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy than a farmer due to his role as a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has been passionate about roping and riding since he was a young boy. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who not only fits well with him, but also can be a caring mother figure to his child.

At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a first-generation farmer living in Mount Juliet, Tennessee. His large property is home to various types of animals and an old cabin from the 1800s where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and love for the outdoors inspired him to pursue a career in farming. Today, he is the proud owner of a farm that includes horses and cattle.

At 29 years old, Brandon Rogers manages a 1,000-acre farm growing potatoes and barley in Center, Colorado. The town he resides in is very small, with only a single stoplight, and is surrounded by agricultural land. Coming from a farming family, Brandon has been working on the farm with his father since he was a child. He is now carrying on the family business and aims to uphold the legacy that his father began.

At just 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is the fourth generation to work in citrus and cattle farming in Bartow, Florida. His property is vast, with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his youth, Smothers has shown great maturity and responsibility after losing his father at a young age. He has taken on the role of supporting his mother and three sisters in the wake of this loss.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET.
