Introducing the farmers featured on Season 2 of Farmer Wants a Wife:
Ty Ferrell, aged 42, identifies more as a cowboy rather than a farmer due to his role as a team roper. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. His passion for roping and riding dates back to his childhood. As one of the more mature farmers on the show, Ferrell is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be a companion to him but also a caring mother figure for his child.
Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to work in agriculture. His farm is home to a variety of wildlife and a historic cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and love for the outdoors inspired him to pursue a career in farming. Today, he is the proud owner of a farm that houses both horses and cattle.
Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. He comes from a small town with only one traffic light and is surrounded by farmland. Rogers is following in his father's footsteps as a second generation farmer, having worked on the farm since he was a child. He is dedicated to keeping the family business going and carrying on the legacy that his father started.
At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth-generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. He owns a large property with 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers is mature and responsible, having taken on the role of helping his mother and three sisters after his father passed away when he was just 12 years old.
The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time.
