Jennifer Nettles, the host of the Fox show, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying more emotions, energy, and quick reactions, which may result in some intense moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their soulmates.

However, in a unique twist, each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to come live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities and lifestyle of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, considers himself more of a cowboy than a farmer because his main job involves team roping. He manages a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has been roping and riding since he was a young child and it is a passion that runs in his family. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is searching for a partner who can not only be his companion but also a loving mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is a first-generation farmer on a large property with abundant wildlife and a historic cabin. He shares the cabin with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and enjoyed spending time outdoors, which led him to pursue a career in farming. He now runs his own farm, raising horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, a 29-year-old farmer, manages a 1,000-acre farm growing potatoes and barley in Center, Colorado. He resides in a small town with only one traffic light, surrounded by agricultural land. As a second-generation farmer, Rogers grew up assisting his father on the farm and now runs the family business, aiming to carry on his father's legacy.

Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers. He is the fourth generation of his family to work in citrus and cattle farming. His property is extensive, with 300 acres used for farming and over 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers is knowledgeable and mature due to the responsibility he took on after his father passed away when he was just 12 years old. He now helps care for his mother and three sisters.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM ET on the Fox network.
