Jennifer Nettles, the host of the Fox show, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying more emotions, energy, and reactions, which may result in some intense moments on the farm.

The upcoming season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States who are searching for their perfect partners.

However, there is a unique aspect to this situation: each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured on the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife. Ty Ferrell, aged 42, considers himself more of a cowboy than a farmer as he is a team roper. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has a passion for roping and riding, which he has been doing since he was a young boy. As one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be his companion but also a caring mother figure for his child.

At 27 years old, Mitchell Kolinsky is a farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee who comes from a family of farmers. He has a large property with abundant wildlife and a historic cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky was raised around horses and developed a love for the outdoors, leading him to pursue a career in farming. He currently manages his own farm with both horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a large farm in Center, Colorado that grows potatoes and barley on 1,000 acres of land. The town he resides in is very small, with only one traffic light, and is surrounded by farmland. Coming from a family of farmers, Rogers has been working on the farm with his father since he was a child. He is now continuing the family business and aims to carry on the legacy that his father began.

Nathan Smothers, a 23-year-old farmer from Bartow, Florida, comes from a long line of farmers. His family has been in the citrus and cattle farming business for four generations. He manages a large property with 300 acres of farmland and 500 acres dedicated to raising cattle. Despite his young age, Nathan has had to mature quickly after the loss of his father when he was just 12 years old. He now takes on the responsibility of caring for his mother and three sisters.

The second season of the show "Farmer Wants a Wife" will debut on Fox on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time.
