Country music star Reba McEntire is set to make a comeback on television.
Following her recent stint as a coach on the popular singing competition show "The Voice," McEntire is collaborating once again with NBC for a new comedy pilot that has not yet been given a title.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the show centers around the main character played by McEntire. She unexpectedly inherits her father's restaurant, but is not exactly happy when she learns that she now has a new business partner who happens to be her half-sister, someone she was not aware of before.

McEntire and showrunner Kevin Abbott, who has worked on successful TV shows like Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls, will be collaborating once again.
According to reports, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who previously worked as executive producers on the show Reba, will be joining Reba McEntire on her upcoming comedy series on NBC.
NBC has placed an order for its first pilot in 2024 following the resolution of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
