Reba McEntire is reuniting with the team from her previous show "Reba" to work on a new sitcom for television. This marks her return to television after some time away.
Immediately following her stint as a coach on the popular singing competition show The Voice, McEntire is collaborating with NBC once more for a new comedy pilot without a confirmed title.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the show follows the story of McEntire's character who unexpectedly inherits her father's restaurant. She is not happy to learn that her new business partner is actually her half-sister, whom she had no idea existed.

McEntire will work again with experienced showrunner Kevin Abbott, who has worked on popular shows such as Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls.
According to reports, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who previously worked as executive producers on Reba, will be joining Reba McEntire on the upcoming NBC comedy series.
NBC has ordered its first pilot for 2024 since the conclusion of the strikes involving the Writers Guild of America and Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA).
