Country music star Reba McEntire is teaming up with the creators of the TV show "Reba" for a new sitcom. She will be returning to television soon.
Following her stint as a coach on the TV show The Voice, McEntire is collaborating once more with NBC in a new multi-camera comedy pilot that does not yet have a title.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the show follows the story of a character played by McEntire, who unexpectedly inherits her father's restaurant. She is surprised to find out that she now has a new business partner, her half-sister whom she had no knowledge of before.

McEntire will be working again with experienced showrunner Kevin Abbott, who has worked on popular TV shows like Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls.
According to reports, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who were previously executive producers on the show Reba, will be working with Reba McEntire on her new comedy series for NBC.
NBC has placed an order for their first pilot of 2024 after the conclusion of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

The singer known for the song "Fancy" made her debut on television in the early 2000s with the successful sitcom Reba, which aired for six seasons from 2001 to 2007.
The show featured McEntire in the role of a mother from Texas who is trying to deal with the breakup of her marriage, her husband's infidelity, and her daughter's pregnancy as a teenager.

The TV show Reba is still being shown on the Hallmark Channel through reruns.
McEntire appeared in the ABC television show Malibu Country in 2012, which also featured Lily Tomlin and Sara Rue, but the series did not last long.
In 2022, she made an appearance in Season 3 of the television show Big Sky on ABC.
