Reba McEntire is reuniting with the team from the show 'Reba' for a new sitcom, marking her return to television.
Following her time as a coach on the popular singing competition show The Voice, Reba McEntire is partnering with NBC once more for a new comedy pilot that has not yet been given a title.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the show follows the story of McEntire's character, who unexpectedly inherits her father's restaurant. She is not happy to find out that she now has to share the business with her long-lost half-sister.

McEntire will be working with experienced showrunner Kevin Abbott again, who has worked on popular shows like Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls.
According to reports, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who previously worked as executive producers on the show Reba, will be joining Reba McEntire on her upcoming comedy series on NBC.
NBC has placed an order for its first pilot of 2024 following the conclusion of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

The singer known for the song "Fancy" made her television debut in the early 2000s with the popular sitcom Reba, which aired for six seasons from 2001 to 2007.
The show featured McEntire playing the role of a mother from Texas who is dealing with the end of her marriage, her husband's infidelity, and her daughter's pregnancy as a teenager.

During 2012, McEntire appeared in the ABC show Malibu Country, which didn't last long and also featured Lily Tomlin and Sara Rue as co-stars.
