Singer Reba McEntire is returning to television by reuniting with the team from her show "Reba" for a new sitcom.
Following her coaching role on the reality singing show The Voice, McEntire is collaborating with NBC once again for a new multi-camera comedy pilot that is currently untitled.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the show is centered on McEntire's character, who unexpectedly inherits her father's restaurant. To her surprise, she finds out that she now has a new business partner in the form of her previously unknown half-sister.

McEntire will team up again with experienced showrunner Kevin Abbott, who has worked on shows such as Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls.
According to reports, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who previously worked as executive producers on Reba, will be joining Reba McEntire on her new comedy series on NBC.

The singer known for the song "Fancy" made her TV debut in the early 2000s with the popular sitcom Reba, which aired for six seasons from 2001 to 2007.
The show featured McEntire in the role of a mother from Texas who is dealing with the breakdown of her marriage, her husband's infidelity, and her daughter's pregnancy during her teenage years.

During 2012, McEntire appeared in the ABC show Malibu Country for a brief period of time, acting alongside Lily Tomlin and Sara Rue.
