Reba McEntire is set to reunite with the team from her previous sitcom "Reba" for a new TV project. The country music star will be returning to television.
Following her stint as a coach on The Voice, Reba McEntire is collaborating with NBC once more for a new multi-camera comedy pilot that is currently untitled.
The Hollywood Reporter reported that the show is about a character played by McEntire who unexpectedly inherits her father's restaurant. However, she is not happy to find out that she now has to share the business with a half-sister she never knew existed.

McEntire will team up with experienced showrunner Kevin Abbott, known for his work on Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls.
According to reports, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who previously worked as executive producers on Reba, will be joining Reba McEntire on her new comedy series for NBC.
NBC has given the green light to its first pilot for 2024 following the resolution of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

The singer known for "Fancy" made her TV debut in the early 2000s with her successful sitcom Reba, which aired for six seasons from 2001 to 2007.
The show featured McEntire playing the role of a mother from Texas dealing with the challenges of her marriage falling apart, her husband's infidelity, and her daughter's unexpected pregnancy during adolescence.

Reba continues to be shown on television through syndication and can currently be watched on the Hallmark Channel.
