Country music star Reba McEntire will be reuniting with the team from her previous show "Reba" for a new sitcom. This marks her return to television.
Following her time as a coach on The Voice, Reba McEntire is collaborating with NBC once more for a new comedy pilot that has not yet been given a title.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the show follows the story of McEntire's character, who unexpectedly inherits her father's restaurant. She is surprised and not very happy to find out that she now has a new business partner in the form of her previously unknown half-sister.

McEntire will be working again with experienced showrunner Kevin Abbott, known for his work on shows like Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls.
According to reports, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who previously worked as executive producers on Reba, will be joining Reba McEntire on her new comedy series on NBC.
NBC has made its first pilot order for 2024 after the conclusion of the strikes by WGA and SAG-AFTRA.

The singer known for "Fancy" made her TV debut in the early 2000s with the popular sitcom Reba, which aired for six seasons between 2001 and 2007.
McEntire played the lead role in the series as a mother living in Texas who is dealing with the breakdown of her marriage, her husband's infidelity, and her daughter's unexpected pregnancy as a teenager.
