Country music star Reba McEntire will be working with the team from her previous sitcom "Reba" on a new project for television. She is returning to television after some time away.
Following her time as a coach on the reality singing show The Voice, McEntire is now collaborating with NBC on a new comedy pilot that has not yet been given a title.
As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the show follows the story of McEntire's character, who unexpectedly inherits her father's restaurant. She is not happy to find out that she now has to share the business with her half-sister, whom she never knew existed before.

McEntire will work with experienced showrunner Kevin Abbott once again, who has previously worked on popular shows like Last Man Standing, Roseanne, and The Golden Girls.
According to reports, Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis, who were previously executive producers on Reba, will be joining Reba McEntire on her new comedy series on NBC.
NBC has recently ordered its first pilot for 2024 following the resolution of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
