Super Bowl 58 is expected to have the highest ticket prices ever, making it a costly event for those who want to attend. Only high rollers are likely to be able to afford tickets for this year's game.
As of Thursday, the lowest-priced single ticket available on the ticket resale site TickPick was $8,000. This ticket would provide seating in the upper 300 section, although the site does mention that the purchase of a seat is ensured.
If the prices stay the same, this Super Bowl ticket will be recorded as the most costly one in history. The previous record holder for the highest ticket price was the 2020 Super Bowl, where the average ticket purchase cost was $6,370. One of the main reasons for the high price that year was that the home team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, were competing in the game. However, that is not the case this year.
The upcoming Super Bowl will be the first one ever held in Las Vegas, and experts believe this is causing ticket prices to increase. Fans are excited at the opportunity to spend a weekend in Sin City and attend the world's biggest sporting event.
Just so you know, the average cost of a ticket to the inaugural Super Bowl was $12.
Many 49er fans prioritize location when purchasing tickets, as shown by StubHub data indicating that 26 percent of ticket sales are from California. This suggests that fans residing in California are more likely to attend games due to the shorter distance. In contrast, only 7 percent of ticket sales on StubHub come from Kansas and Missouri combined, indicating a lower level of fan attendance from those states.
Furthermore, we must consider the influence of Taylor Swift. Her presence at the event is expected to attract a larger number of female fans than usual.
No matter how you enter, the Allegiant Stadium with 65,000 seats will be completely full. Super Bowl 58 is scheduled to start on Sunday, February 11th, at 6:30PM Eastern Time.
