Super Bowl 58 is expected to have the highest ticket prices ever seen in the game's history. If you're looking to attend this year's Super Bowl, be prepared to pay a premium as it is projected to be the most expensive one yet.
On Thursday, the lowest-priced single ticket available on the ticket resale site TickPick was $8,000. This ticket would give you a seat in the upper 300 section, but it is important to note that the site does guarantee you a seat.
If the prices remain stable, this Super Bowl ticket will be considered the most expensive one ever. The 2020 Super Bowl holds the record for the highest average ticket purchase price at $6,370. One of the reasons for the high price that year was that the home team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was playing in the game. This is not the case for this year's Super Bowl.
The upcoming Super Bowl will be the first one to take place in Las Vegas. Ticket experts believe this unique location is causing prices to increase as fans are eager to enjoy a weekend in Sin City and top it off with the biggest sports event globally.
In case you were curious, the average cost of a ticket to the inaugural Super Bowl was $12.
Many 49er fans value location when purchasing tickets, as shown by StubHub data indicating that 26 percent of ticket sales come from California. This suggests that fans prefer to make the shorter trip to watch their favorite team play. In contrast, only 7 percent of ticket sales on StubHub come from Kansas and Missouri combined.
Also, we shouldn't overlook the influence of Taylor Swift! It is probable that she will be present at the event, leading to a higher turnout of female fans than usual.
Regardless of how you enter, the Allegiant Stadium with 65,000 seats will be completely full. Super Bowl 58 is scheduled to start on Sunday, February 11, at 6:30PM Eastern Time.
