Super Bowl 58 is expected to have the highest ticket prices ever, so if you want to attend, you'll need to be prepared to pay a significant amount. This year's Super Bowl is shaping up to be the priciest one yet.
As of Thursday, the lowest-priced single ticket available on the ticket resale website TickPick was $8,000. This ticket would provide seating in the upper 300 section, with the website specifying that a seat is assured at this price.
If the current prices remain stable, this Super Bowl ticket will be recorded as the most costly one in history. The previous record holder was the 2020 Super Bowl, where the average ticket price was $6,370. The high price that year was influenced by the fact that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the home team, were participating in the game. This year, however, the situation is different.
The upcoming Super Bowl will be the inaugural one to take place in Las Vegas. Ticket experts believe this unique location is causing prices to rise, as fans are eager to enjoy a weekend in Sin City and culminate it with the most significant sporting event globally.
Just in case you were curious, the average cost of a ticket to the inaugural Super Bowl was $12.
Many 49ers fans prioritize location when buying tickets, as shown by StubHub data indicating that 26% of ticket sales come from California. Fans from California can easily make the shorter trip to watch their favorite team play. In contrast, only 7% of ticket sales on StubHub come from Kansas and Missouri combined.
Don't overlook the influence of Taylor Swift! Her presence at the event could attract a larger female audience than usual.
Regardless of how you enter, Allegiant Stadium, with 65,000 seats, will be completely full. Super Bowl 58 is scheduled to start on Sunday, February 11, at 6:30PM Eastern Time.
