The Tennessee Titans' upcoming new stadium will result in significant changes to the future of CMA Fest.
After being hosted at Nissan Stadium for a number of years, the festival's main shows will be relocated to the newly constructed venue once it is finished.
According to the Country Music Association, they have future plans to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans every year during CMA Fest. They are excited to invite country music fans to Nashville for the nightly concerts that will take place in the newly built stadium.
A brand new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is going to be constructed on the eastern side of the existing Nissan Stadium, located along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The construction is planned to commence this year, and the stadium is expected to be ready for opening in 2027.
Fans of country music will still have the option to reach the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by utilizing the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The upcoming location for the Titans will differ from their current home as it will be an enclosed facility specifically designed to enhance the fan experience. It will offer sweeping views of Nashville, feature a see-through roof, and include a generous 12,000 square feet of community space that can be utilized throughout the year.
