The Future of CMA Fest: How the New Nissan Stadium Will Change the Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience

  • by

In the near future, CMA Fest will undergo changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans. This will lead to a different look and feel for the festival.

Although the festival has been held at Nissan Stadium for many years, the main shows will be relocated to a new venue once construction is finished.

The Country Music Association is looking forward to collaborating with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest. They are excited to host country music fans in Nashville for the evening concerts at the new stadium.

A new stadium called the New Nissan Stadium will be constructed on the East Bank of the Cumberland River, near the current Nissan Stadium. The building process is expected to start this year, and the stadium is projected to open in 2027.

Fans of country music can still reach the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The new stadium for the Titans will be enclosed and focused on providing fans with an exceptional experience, featuring panoramic views of Nashville, a see-through roof, and 12,000 square feet of community space that can be utilized throughout the year.

CMA Fest, previously known as Fan Fair, started in 1972 and has grown into a popular event for country music fans. It attracts tens of thousands of guests from around the world to Nashville to watch over 250 performances on nine stages.

The CMA Fest 2024 will take place from June 6-9 in the heart of Nashville.
