  • by

The upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans signals changes ahead for CMA Fest in the future. The event may undergo significant alterations due to this development.

The festival's main shows have been held at Nissan Stadium for a number of years, but they will be relocated to a new venue once construction is finished.

The Country Music Association is excited to announce that they will be collaborating with the Tennessee Titans during CMA Fest each year. They are looking forward to hosting country music fans in Nashville for the evening concerts at the new stadium.

A new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, will be constructed on the East Bank of the Cumberland River, located east of the current Nissan Stadium. Building is expected to start this year, and the stadium is planned to open in 2027.

Fans of country music can still get to the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The new venue for the Titans will be enclosed and focused on providing fans with a better experience. It will have panoramic views of Nashville, a see-through roof, and 12,000 square feet of community space that can be utilized throughout the year.

CMA Fest is known as the top event for country music fans, starting in 1972 as Fan Fair. From its humble beginnings with 5,000 fans at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium, it has grown into one of the largest annual events in country music. Every year, music enthusiasts from around the world gather in Music City to enjoy over 250 performances on nine stages.
