  • by

In the coming years, CMA Fest is expected to undergo significant changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans.

After being held at Nissan Stadium for many years, the festival's main shows will be relocated to the new venue once it is finished.

The Country Music Association has expressed their intention to maintain their collaboration with the Tennessee Titans on an annual basis during the CMA Fest. They are excited about the opportunity to invite country music fans to Nashville for the evening concerts that will take place in the newly built stadium.

A brand new stadium, appropriately called the New Nissan Stadium, is going to be constructed on the eastern side of the existing Nissan Stadium, located along the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The construction is planned to start in the present year, and the stadium is expected to be ready for opening in 2027.

Fans of country music will continue to have the option to reach the New Nissan Stadium in downtown Nashville by utilizing the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.

The new stadium for the Titans will be different from their current one. It will be an indoor facility designed to provide a better experience for fans. It will have large windows that offer panoramic views of Nashville, a roof made of translucent material, and a community space of 12,000 square feet that can be utilized throughout the year.

CMA Fest, originally known as Fan Fair, is a remarkable event for country music fans. It first took place in 1972 at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium, attracting a modest crowd of 5,000 attendees. However, over the years, it has grown into one of the largest and most significant annual gatherings in the country music industry. People from all corners of the world come together in Music City, with tens of thousands of guests eager to witness over 250 performances by various artists on nine different stages.
