The upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans will bring changes to CMA Fest in the future. The festival will undergo a transformation due to this development.
The main shows of the festival have been held at Nissan Stadium for a number of years, but once the new venue is finished, they will be moved there.
The Country Music Association is planning to collaborate with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest, and they are excited to invite country music fans to Nashville for the evening concerts at the new stadium.
A new stadium, appropriately named the New Nissan Stadium, will be constructed on the East Bank of the Cumberland River, located just east of the current Nissan Stadium. The building process is expected to start this year, and the stadium is projected to open in 2027.
Fans of country music can still reach the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
In contrast to where the Titans currently play, the upcoming stadium will be covered and focused on providing fans with an exceptional experience. It will offer sweeping views of Nashville, a see-through roof, and 12,000 square feet of public space that can be utilized throughout the year.
CMA Fest, originally known as Fan Fair, is a popular event for country music fans that started in 1972. It began as a small gathering of 5,000 fans at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium and has since grown into a major annual event in the country music industry. Every year, tens of thousands of guests from around the world come together in Music City to watch over 250 performances on nine different stages.
